How do I install the revo2 on my iPhone?

  • Will the revo2 negatively affect my iPhone’s reception?
No. Testing has concluded that the iSkin revo2 does not negatively impact the reception capability of the iPhone for both cellular and WiFi connectivity.
  • Will my earphones fit the revo2?
Yes. The revo2’s earphone opening is designed to fit the standard earphone that came with your iPhone. If you enjoy using oversize earphones, however, you may require an iSkin adapter, which is available from the iSkin website.
  • What type of iPhone port protection does the revo2 offer?
We know that the docking port is the iPhone’s most vulnerable and exposed component. That’s why the revo2 delivers built–in docking port protection. So relax — you’re covered!
  • What type of screen protection does the revo2 have?
The revo2 includes an on–screen protective film that helps prevent fingerprints and reduces glare. The film tacks easily to the screen and contains no messy adhesives or glue. You can also simply clean the film by removing it, washing it with lukewarm water infused with mild dish soap, and allowing it to air dry on a flat surface (please don’t wipe the film with a cloth).
  • Does the revo2 protect the iPhone’s camera?
Yes, it does. The revo2 features a clear plastic lens that covers the iPhone’s camera lens. It can be easily removed in order to take clear, crisp pictures. iSkin is the only manufacturer on the market today that provides this level of iPhone camera lens protection.
  • Does the iPhone with a revo2 fit in the iPhone’s dock?
No. The iPhone’s dock is designed to work only with a "naked" iPhone (i.e. an unprotected iPhone). It is, however, possible to use the revo2–equipped iPhone with the Apple Universal Dock, with no plastic inserts.
    Can I use my iPhone’s touch screen with the ViSOR™ installed?
No. The ViSOR™ is intended to help protect the iPhone’s screen against impacting objects when not in use. It also acts as an effective screen guard when you’re viewing videos, and don’t want to activate the screen by accidentally touching it.
  • How thin is the revo2?
The iSkin revo2 has varying thinness, with a maximum of a mere 2.0mm. The reason for this variation in thinness is because, in order to provide maximum protection with minimum bulk, certain areas of the iPhone benefit from a slightly less/more thin layer. This varying degree of thinness also helps give the revo2 a solid, substantial feel.
  • How can I keep my revo2 and ViSOR™ clean?
  • Easy! Every few weeks or more frequently if necessary, separate the revo2 from the iPhone and gently wash the revo2 in warm water infused with mild dishwashing soap. Then allow the revo2 to air dry on a flat surface (please DO NOT dry by applying heat to the revo2, such as a hair dryer or heating vent). You can also dry the revo2 by gently wiping with a clean, lint–free cloth as well.
